Enjoyed my first meeting/consult with Dr. Cooper. Most pleasant and caring. Took his time with me but also didn't waste my time by letting me know right up front I wasn't a candidate for the hip procedure I was hoping he could do. Showed me why it would not be a solution for me by pointing things out on my X-rays and MRIs. Extremely knowledgeable. Offered me another viable solution, which I'm considering. Thank you, Dr. Cooper and staff, who were also terrific. (Saw him in his Brentwood office and very convenient easy parking!)

Dr. Cooper is so nice ! Introduced himself. Checked X-rays. Asked what happened and listened to my concerns. Best news was that I didn’t need surgery. Just medication and rest. Best doctor visit ever. Great

Dr Cooper is approachable & friendly, knowledgeable, he takes time to explain things, and offers multiple solutions/ways forward vs. just only one. Wait time was not long at all and I felt really taken care of. I'm so glad I found Dr Cooper to help with my knee.

I had a cortisone shot for bursitis in my leg. I don’t think it worked that well cause my pain is worse. Now it hurts when I walk and before it only hurt when I walked up stairs. Maybe it will calm down in a couple of days.
I am leaving on a 3-1/2 month vacation to Vermont. I go there every summer but do not have doctors there. I was hoping I would recover so I could do normal activities and exercise. Because my house was burned down by the homeless on Oct 3 I have been renting and I have to pack all my belongings that were purchased cause most things burned. So, I have to put everything in storage. I have to unpack the house and when I arrive at the cottage cottage in Vermont. Traveling with pets takes physical energy so it doesn’t seem to be any way I can rest my leg for 2 weeks and was hoping for relief.
If you have any recommendations I could sure use help. I have had a cortisone shot for any other injury years ago and realize it doesn’t always work. But sometimes it does! My whole life I have been active and at 72 I am definitely slowing down. I will start taking anti-inflammatory meds but that doesn’t solve the problem. Maybe I could get another shot next week. We leave on a night flight on May 31. Could I make another appointment for a consultation. What would you recommend? Dr Sheps has been treating me with little relief for the past 3 weeks. I have had this condition for 2 months.
