Renowned orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Joe Cooper is excited to announce the opening of his new practice in Los Angeles. Dr. Cooper joins the established team at DOCS Spine + Orthopedics.
Patients are fortunate to have access to the prominent Sports Medicine surgeon Joe Cooper, MD, in Los Angeles at his new practice location 8436 W. 3rd Street, Suite 800 Los Angeles, CA 90048. Dr. Cooper specializes in the treatment of athletes performing many of his surgeries through minimally invasive arthroscopic techniques.
Dr. Joe Cooper is part of the Sports Medicine team at DOCS Spine + Orthopedics. DOCS Spine + Orthopedics is a group of internationally renowned Orthopedic Surgeons, Neurosurgeons, and Spine Specialists that are experts in treating the most complex medical problems. DOCS Health was created and engineered by Orthopedic Surgeons and Spine Care Specialists whose goal is to elevate patient care to a new standard of excellence.
Dr. Cooper brings industry leading training to provide his patients with the best care available. Dr. Cooper currently serves as a physician for the US Ski and Snowboard teams. He has completed Fellowships at the Steadman Philippon Research Institute in Vail Colorado in sports medicine. Dr. Cooper attended undergrad at Washington University in St. Louis, pitching for the Bears baseball team while earning a B.S. in biology and neuroscience. He went on to medical school at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society and graduated with honors. Dr. Cooper then completed his residency at the University of Southern California, where he was selected by his faculty as both an American Orthopedic Association (AOA) resident leader and an emerging leader in the field of orthopedics.
